pipe/fittings ignoring custom valve ports and instead connecting to center

Have added several downloaded 2 way valves into P3d with no issues. Following the same process with a 3 way, downloaded geometry, converted to plant3d part, set all 3 port locations and added to catalogue and spec.

Valve inserts well, the issue is, instead of connecting to the assigned ports as with the other valves, all of the pipe/fittings attach to the center point of the valve.

As far as I can tell, I've done nothing different to this valve from the 2 ways that I've successfully imported. I've not found this exact situation via searches so far. Any ideas?

Have you verified the created port locations on the custom block when you plantpartconverted?

I did, that was my first thought too. See attached

hmmm.  I would delete the part from the catalog and rename the custom block and then re do the plantpartconvert command and see if that fixes it. It might be quicker then trying to investigate other possible issues.
