Phyton actuator?

I did create several custom Phyton script for inline objects and supports.

Is it possible to use this also for actuators? I digged in the Variant.zip which contains the existing scripts but how to use this for custom actuators I am lost.

Can anybody give me an example (as simple as possible)?
