P&ID line group tag error

Trying to assign a tag to a branch line on a P&ID and get an error message stating "no two schematic line groups can have the same tag" Only problem is that this tag has not been assigned to the drawing or the project. Please see snip-its. Any direction is appreciated. Thank you.

The program did have an abrupt shutdown earlier in the week, not on the day in question (lost power), when I was in this file. Was / is running fine except for this issue.

Try the AUDIT DATABASE, instead of AUDIT PROJECT as Hartmut Eger suggested, if you have the AutoCAD Plant 3D 2022 version.

Oh it's because it is available only in collaborate projects, I didn't know it

So in this case I would try again Audit Project without anyone working at the time and run the commands AUDIT and PURGE in the drawing

Try running the "PnPLocalDataCachePurger" in addition to doing the Project Audit.

Also try removing this drawing from the project completely and create a new drawing.

Tried the former. The latter is a solution of the last resort.

Sounds like you need to remove the drawing.  Creating a new drawing, without removing the old one, will not work.

You could try doing that.  I've used that technique to fix corrupted drawings in the past.

But if it does not work you will need to purge it from the project.  Remove it, run the project audit, then run PnP purger.  Make sure no one else is in the project too.

To reduce redraw time, you could bring it in as an xref, from a separate project and trace it.  I wouldn't try to copy anything in, something happened to this drawing and you don't want to re-corrupt your new one.

I've had your situation happen but all of the steps previously suggested to you have worked  😐
