Dear all,
I am facing an issue on generating ortho drawings in Autocad Plant for which i could not find yet any workaround:
- if a layer is frozen in 3D model, and when i creat a view in ortho i set thawed, that component does not appear when generating the viewport: it always uses the frozen definition of the 3D model. It can be visible in the ortho cube, but when i generate the ortho view it does not appear.
- if a layer is thawed in 3D model, and when i creat a view in ortho i set frozen, that component does not appear when generating the viewport: it always uses the frozen definition of the ortho view.
Basically, if something is frozen in the 3D model, you can never set it visible in the ortho view. Otherwise, if something is visible in the 3D model, you can frozen it in the ortho view. Is this the behaviour that everyone finds in Autocad Plant ortho? Is there any workaround to make the ortho frozen/thawed status fully independent from the 3D model? As far as i could check, using on/off instead of thawed/frozen the result is the same.
