Orbit operations cause screen to shake

Hello everyone.

I've encountered an odd problem.  When using orbit (either 3D mouse or shift + mousewheel click), all objects in my drawing shake as I scroll around.  Here is a screencast I recorded.

I'm using a 3D connexion mouse.  I'm also using some reduced graphics settings.

When I first encountered this on another project, I thought it was because we were working more than one million units away from the origin (long story), which AutoCAD doesn't like.  However, this is a different, more reasonable project.

I'm at a loss for what causes this problem.  It doesn't occur all the time.  Restarting plant usually solves the issue, albeit temporarily.  Perhaps some of my equipment files are too large?  But they're small enough that AutoCAD isn't slowed down.  I haven't seen anyone else post about this on forums, so I figure it's some odd combination of factors on my computer.

I have attached another screencast of the first project.  When this shaking occurs with piping, grips separate from their visual representations, making it very hard to use Plant 3D.
