Nozzle tag annotation in ortho drawings

AutoCAD Plant 3D has given inbuilt option to tag nozzles in ortho drawings but I cannot find a way to place these nozzle tags as everytime I select the nozzle, the command window displays "Annotation requires a Nozzle object".

The problem is that ortho drawings produce a single equipment block with all the nozzles forming part of the equipment block and as such there is no option to select nozzles separately.

I have noticed others in the forum experiencing same problem but no one has provided any solution so far.

Please provide some solution to tag nozzles in ortho drawings.

Yes. It is a work around. Listen up:

Create a custom nozzle ID property for equipment, at that level (node).
Assign the nozzle number to that property in the model.

Create an annotation calling on the equipment property and use that
annotation. You can xref the model into the ortho with a offset vport. Done
deal.

Hi, Thanks for providing some solution.

However, I am not able to clearly understand this statement - "Create a custom nozzle ID property for equipment, at that level (node)."

Can you please elaborate on this?

HI, any progress on this query ?

I did this, it worked but Plant only show the tag of one nozzle. When I try for the other one, it keeps me showing the tag of the first nozzle.
