Adding custom Stub-end in Plant 3D Spec Editor

Hi everyone,

This question is related with a previous one i made recently.

I´m adding custom elements into my custom catalogue, now i need to add a custom Stub-end and a custom Backing-ring into my catalogue. At the moment of creating a new component in Spec Editor, if i select the option "Plant 3D Parametric Graphics", in the dropdown list of components i can select "Fasteners" which takes me to select the next option "StubEnd" which is what i am looking for. However, when i try to create a new component in Spec Editor by using "Custom-AutoCAD DWG Block Based Graphics", at th moment of deploy the dropdown list of "Component Category", the "Fatener" option which takes me to "StubEnd" is not available.

¿How can i get access to "Fastener" option which takes me to "StubEnd" element at the moment of "Creating a New Component" by using the "Custom-AutoCAD DWG Block Based Graphics" ?

Dear @MONTECINOS ,

So now I ask the question I already asked in an earlier post of yours:
Have you had the appropriate AutoCAD Plant 3D training?

If so, one point has been that Fastener does not accept custom blocks.
The only solution is to use Python scripts which are allowed in Fastener.

Hi,

Yes, i received formation, but it was not a vast training, most of the things that i don´t know i have to look by myself for solutions.

Anyway, thanks for your anwer.
