Dimensioning between supports and branches

Hi all,

I've been having this problem and can't seem to find a solution for it.  When I run an iso and it has for example a flanged spool with 2 supports or branches, the iso style will dimension from the right side to the leftmost branch, then again from the left side to the rightmost branch and dimension in between the branches, I just want it to dimension from the right to the left in a string.  I can't find the setting that would change this. Hi,

You want to turn off the Locating dimension for Support and add a String dimension for Support.

Remove Locating dimension

     

Add new String dimension

            

 

Making the above change to the oob configuration of CHECK_A2 gives this result:

Which version of Plant 3D are you using?  

I seem to recall this was a defect a few versions back.

It works for me in 2025.

This is a bug noted on version 2023. It was corrected on versions 2024, 2025.

Oh that's great, I've been struggling with this for a year.  Upgraded and it's fine.
