Creating custom component based on block

 Hey,

I got many problems. First of all, it's the error message in 3D "cannot connect parts" while inserting custom component.

Basically i just made an object (valve), convert it to a block, then via PLANTPARTCONVERT set two ports (using ortho, no problems there so far i think). In spec editor I made custom CAD DWG Block based graphics, set sizes, OD and PN, insert a model which is for some reason black, even tho I set the color of the object to "by layer" which is index color 7 (white in dark background, black in a brighter one) And even if I set it to red only, the image in spec editor is still black (and that was made completely again, new object, new block...), anyone knows why? Another problem what is probably making a mess it's fact that until now I used PN16 everything (pipes, valves, gaskets...). Now I need to switch to PN40, so I have no components at all and need to create them all. That's kinda one of my questions, what all need to be set, so it can work? I probably need to create pipe, gasket, matice, bolt, flange and the valve itself - all with PN40 right? Earlier it was full error message (like the ones in photos which I attached, where is detail of the error. Now I have Just the "cannot connect parts" for some reason). I don't know if I explained well, anyways thanks everyone who spned their time reading this and try to help me

Have a great day

Dear @hosoii ,

Didn't you cover these points in your SpecEditor training?

There are a lot of points to work through here.
