Create a Custom Property that works on a numeric count

Hey Plant 3D Team,

I am trying to create a property in the Plant 3D Class Definitions that auto assigns a number as each component is created and never reuses the same number. essentially acts as a unique identifier number for all of the model components in the project.

Hello

You can use the "PnPID" property which assigns a unique number for each object.
To create this property type the command “PLANTDEFINECALCPROPERTIES”
After creating this property, remember to make it read-only in the class configuration

Pour créer cette propriété tapez la commande "PLANTDEFINECALCPROPERTIES"
Après avoir créé cette propriété, pensez à la rendre en lecture seule dans la configuration des classes

I'm assuming I will need to be running at least AutoCAD Plant 3D 2023 to be able to add these calculated properties?

Hello

This "PLANTDEFINECALCPROPERTIES" command works on versions prior to 2013.
From 2013 onwards, it is possible to create calculated class properties directly from the project configuration.

Cette commande "PLANTDEFINECALCPROPERTIES" fonctionne sur des versions antérieures à 2013.
A partir de 2013, il est possible de créer directement, depuis la configuration de projet, des propriétés de classe calculée.
