Can I display piping in a plat 3D model as centrelines?

I am wondering if it is possible to display piping centre lines in the 3D model space to then be able to save this "line" drawing, for want of a better phrase, out as a .dwg for use elsewhere?

Dear @Anonymous ,

unfortunately, this function is not yet available in Plant 3D.
Have you checked Plant 3D's IdeaStation to see if there is a contribution?
If not please create a contribution, the chance that the developers will see it and possibly implement it increases. But this is no guarantee of success, just a try.
