Adding Title Block Attribute in BIM Team Project

When we try to edit an ISO title block template in our BIM Team project, using the Project Config, we are able to place the attribute and save and close the template, but when we try to check in the update setting change, it shows a caution triangle in the BIM Team project icon (in Plant 3D application), which basically means that setting change did not take place. We then have to close then check in settings (does not work), open project again then check in settings (does not work), close the project and check in settings (finally works, but does not check in the updated settings, but the settings previous to making the change. What is the proper way to update this type of a change in a BIM Team project? When doing this change in a SQL project, everything works as expected the first time. Thank you!

@Andrew_Root I was able to edit the Iso template and add attributes using the project setup. I might not be using the same workflow you are using but here is an Autodesk Screencast I created that shows the workflow I used.
