SharePoint online and AutoDesk Web app?

I'm a SPO admin and our engineers are hoping to view/edit their DWG from SP but when we click on the AutoDesk web app option (I've tried Edge and Chrome) nothing happens. Thoughts?

That may be a SharePoint issue at your end, AutoCADWEB works fine for us direct https://web.autocad.com/#/filemanager.html

Hello again,

The button to open DWGs from OneDrive/Sharepoint isn't where it should be.  As a workaround you still can open a Preview and there you will see in the top left the Open option where you can open it in AutoCAD web. Will post an update once we get this resolved.

I brought the web app into Azure Active Directory yesterday and, through Chrome, it opens the AutoDesk website now...It appeared as though the web app step had been completed previously because it was available to me on the ribbon in my document library on SPO, so I was confused. I think I'm good now.

One more question...when we are taken to the web app via SPO, it appears to be "view only". How do we get to edit a drawing?

OneDrive & SharePoint are working better and you can click the DWG to open in ACAD web now. It's not perfect just yet but we'll get it resolved. 

Sounds like you are looking at the free version.  To enable the tools you need an AutoCAD subscription. You can check your account at accounts.autodesk.com

Those users who save DWG files in SharePoint and OneDrive accounts can now easily open and edit them with Autodesk solutions including the AutoCAD mobile app, AutoCAD desktop application and the new AutoCAD web app.

The AutoCAD web app basically enables users to utilize AutoCAD on any computer in order to save drafts and design ideas.

You can use the new AutoCAD web app to open DWG files directly from SharePoint or OneDrive. Microsoft has already started rolling out OneDrive integration technology.
