Is there a way to generate an ellipse in AutoCAD Web?

I am teaching a remote High School AutoCAD class and the only common program the students can run from home due to computer (or lack of) equipment is AutoCAD Web. One shape we need is an ellipse. The command is not there and I have not found a way to generate it (stretch, polyline, etc.). Any suggestions?

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD Web App forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

While there are a number of basic shapes available in the AutoCAD Web App, the ellipse is not currently included. I think this would be a great addition and encourage you to submit the idea to the Product Feedback team. You can do this from the Help (?) in the upper right corner in the application window:

I was just testing additional steps which might be a solution for you and the students

1. Create a drawing with an ellipse in AutoCAD Desktop or take the drawing I attached to this post.

2. Send the drawing to the students.

3. Upload the drawing to the file manager or your external storage provider.

4. You could use the drawing as a starting point and change the ellipse in this drawing. The properties already recognize it as an Ellipse. Just move and edit it as you want with the grips.

5. Until now creating a block from it and inserting this block in other drawings did not work on my side but when you are able to manage it, this could be a comfortable solution to add an ellipse also to other drawings.
