Using AutoCAD Web App to view DWG from mobile is useless if object enablers (in this case Civil 3D) are not supported.

See sample Screenshot. Is there a way to get the Proxy objects shown as well?

Hello Udo @Udo_Huebner

Nice hearing from you 🙂 Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for sharing this wish in the topic: "Give us feedback on AutoCAD web". An idea station for AutoCAD Web App does currently not exist, but this topic was created a few weeks ago to handle exactly those wishes 🙂

Best regards,

Thomas

I second that. It is now more important because of the New Sheet Set Manager.

I know it is an old topic but do we have a little progress on this? Is it on the roadmap?

Easy to test if you have a C3D file to open there: but considering C3D enablers are not auto-built into their desktop version even today... well, you know.

I know that object enabler for AutoCAD is on top of the software, thank you. But here we are talking about a web solution that could be used by non design people. A simple interface that could give them the possibility to draft basic stuff. The idea at my company would be to use Trace instead of a PDF viewer and reduce the amount of rework. Those guys almost design in their PDF application, this is getting ridiculous but we would need to be able to view the 3D elements at the same time. I just tested with an alignment file, it is still not working. My alignments are not squares... 😉

You'll have to direct your wishlists to Autodesk direct (not just in this slow unattended forum), they look for your type of feedback over here

https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback

Not sure what is otherwise holding you back from using the TRACE tool in your C3D software product, you might want to ask for how others use it in the C3D forum over here

Hi there,

I second this idea as well it would be nice (...actually quiet important) that AutoCAD web would include Objects Enablers (all the existing OE).

@Udo_Huebner  There is an half way workaround that you can use for now, better than nothing...
Have your Civil 3D team set PROXYGRAPHICS to 1 before they save their drawings. This way, when you open the C3D drawings using AutoCAD web, at least you can see a representation of the "C3D objects". you will see surfaces and other C3D stuff..., not just "boxes"

Hope this helps.
