Can't see dwg file

I have created a folder in AutoCAD 360 and uploaded a dwg drawing. However, when I open Autodesk from AutoCAD I can see and open the folder but cannot see the drawing file.

When I select File > Open on the left hand menu I select Autodesk 360 to view the folders on my Autodesk account. I can generally see files I have uploaded and open them. However, for some reason, I cannot see the latest drawing I have uploaded. I will try and paste a couple of screen shots.

"autodesk360" from your OPEN command is this website
https://a360.autodesk.com/drive/app/root

autocad360 is this website
https://client.autocad360.com/#/filemanager.html

Two different cloud based services: you seem to think the letter 360 makes it all the same when it's not. pay attention to the entire name, it's confusing I know.

You cannot post to autocad360 from OPEN command in AutoCAD. You have to manually upload the files outside of AutoCAD.

So which cloud-based product are you actually trying to use?
Autodesk360 is for file sharing with others.
AutoCAD360 is for mobile drafting (while mobile) on a tablet.

Wow! That is a bit confusing!

I'm happy to upload the drawings outside of AutoCAD but want to open the file from AutoCAD on my laptop.

My company is a world wide organisation and I want to allow access to machine blocks to a cloud library so they always have the latest drawing.

When I started to look at it the Autodesk 360 short cut on my menu seems to link to a synchronised FTP(?) I expanded and collapsed it and when I went back to my AutoCAD I could see the drawing file!

I will work with it a bit more. When you initially open the short cut the response seems quite slow. Once you are in the cloud folders it's fine.

Thanks for your help.

Mike

Thanks for the follow-up Mike: you in-fact are wanting to use (and are using) A360/A360Drive for file sharing/swapping and access into full AutoCAd when on the road, and not the forum's software topic autocad360.com

For future support needs, the A360 forum is here https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/a360/ct-p/204
The A360Drive forum is here
https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/a360-drive/ct-p/201

I wish they would change the names, it drives me nuts and I understand it all.
