Hi @Anonymous,
Thank you for the information. The permissions I mentioned are on the network operating system and need to be set per your organization's unique usage, this may require IT support.
A few other possibilities to check are:
- Licensing, check that you and one of the other users are not accidentally utilizing the same same license.
- Are you and another user working on a file at the same time?
- Do you have any add-ons installed in AutoCAD?
- Are you and the other users sharing components across the network in AutoCAD (profiles, plot settings, etc.)?
If you are concerned that there is a corruption in the AutoCAD install on your system, you could try running a repair, or resetting AutoCAD to defaults, or do a reinstall. In the case of a reset or reinstall, be sure to try running it prior to migrating your settings back into it and make sure you have all the latest updates installed. The following Autodesk Knowledge Network (AKN) articles cover these options.
How to repair AutoCAD or vertical installation
How to reset AutoCAD to defaults
Recommended uninstall and reinstall procedures for AutoCAD
Also if you have custom settings, recommend backing them up prior to attempting either a reset or repair.
How to import, export, back up, and transfer settings to and from AutoCAD
All current updates are available through your Autodesk Account or from the Autodesk Desktop App.
All the best,
