Missing the beam calculator in AutoCAD Mechanical 2018

Hello

I often use the beam calculator functions in Mechanical

But now this complete menu seams to be missing.

Have I somehow removed it and if so how do I get it back?

Hi @Mustang69,

Thank you for the screen shot. It looks like you are running AutoCAD Mechanical as Vanilla AutoCAD. 

If you open OPTIONS, go to the Profiles Tab, select <<ACADMPP>> and press Set Current then OK, does this look correct? 

Also, if you have not done so already, 2018 has 2 updates to be installed, one for Mechanical, and one for core AutoCAD.

Thanks for the answers.

I installed the most recent update and also checked the profile and it is in ACADMPP

Nothing seams to help here

I also checked the workspaces.
Are there something missing?

Hi @Mustang69,

It looks like there is a newer update for core AutoCAD (the current build update is 2018.1.2). Maybe see if that resolves the issue. After that, I would say it looks like a corrupted install. 

The next step I would suggest is to Reset to Defaults - How to reset AutoCAD to defaults or Reinstall from the operating system - How to repair or reinstall AutoCAD installation.

I always suggest test running the program prior to reimporting any settings in case the issue is with a damaged profile. You can save a copy of the existing profile from the Reset to Defaults option or as described in here:

I could not solve this problem.

Finally I removed 2018 and installed the new 2019.
Look great and all tools are there!
