Hello everyone
I created very simple block with 1 atribute (text). How can I put it to the symbols menu to make it possible to insert it with a leader?

Hi
You cannot add a block to AMNOTE gallery. Amnote can be used with a text information. If you would like to add custom templates, command: AMNOTE>> Pick 2 points>>Enter the text info>>In the Ribbon>>Library Dropdown>>Select "Add Template"
For blocks; once you create a block, the block can be seen in Block Gallery. Switch to Insert Tab>>Block Panel>>Insert Dropdown to see the list of blocks created.
Thanks,
Thank you for the answer. It helps me a little but it still isn't what I'am looking for.
Simply I want to put my block with atributes (no matter it is block, symbol or however it is called in Autocad Mechanical) with a leader arrow. In "normal" Autocad I could create new multileader style, change it's type to block and choose user block. How can I achieve the same result in Autocad Mechanical?
Hi @Anonymous,
I believe the command you are looking for is MLEADERSTYLE which brings up this dialog window:

Unfortunately in Autocad Mechanical command MLEADERSTYLE doesn't exist. There is only some system variable CMLEADERSTYLE. Any ideas?
Hi @Anonymous,
I have MLEADERSTYLE in AutoCAD versions 2015 through 2018. Which version are you working with? Have you installed the updates?
All current updates are available through your Autodesk Account.

Hi. Sorry for answering so late. I am busy recently.
I use Autocad Mechanical 2017 but Polish version. The problem was that I forgot to type "_" before the command MLEADERSTYLE. This dialog box shows up, but another problem occurs. I am not able to choose the block I created. It isn't on the list. I'm sure it is created because it is in the insert panel. Maybe I ommited something while creating block in block editor. The only thing I added was base point. Maybe some other thing need to be added in block editor to make this block to be listed in mleaderstyle dialog box.
Hi @Anonymous,
I apologize for the delay in response, I was away for a few days. I did run some tests, and was not able to see the block that contained only a point either. Once I added some geometric content, I was able to select my block. It seems as though there must be some geometric or textual content in the block for it to be used to create a custom MLEADER.
There seem to be some difference between the Polish and English versions. The dialog box you are showing for _MLEADERSTYLE is accessed in the English version from the Modify option of MLEADERSTYLE.
All the best,

Hi @Anonymous,
I am checking back to see if you have been able to create your custom MLEADER.
All the best,
Hi @Anonymous,
I apologize for coming back to this late. I have been looking into the issue further and found that Annotative blocks are not shown in the list. This is explained in the in application help file "About Mleader Styles". It can be checked by opening the Properties Palette, type the command PROPERTIES (or CH), under the section labeled Misc, if check that Annotative is set to No.
If Annotative is set to Yes, edit the block (BEDIT) and change Annotative to No then save the block. it should show up in the list after that.
Please let me know if this helped.
All the best,
Thank you @cheryl.buck
Your clues were essential and I finally found out how to do this in Autocad Mechanical (Polish version)
Here is summary what need to be done:
