We recently installed AutoCAD Mechanical 2020. Every time I draw a line, or rectangle I attempt to use the cartesian coordinate as with previous versions of AutoCAD. I type in "rectang" and select a point on the screen. then type "@24,6". but the command freezes. I press escape a number of times but the command will not release. the only way I have found to interrupt the command is to restart the program. So I have several questions
1. has the cartesian coordinate function changed, the prompts do not appear to be different?
2. why does the escape not work to release the command line?
