I run the AMDEFLINE command and I can get to the point where the dialog is supposed to open up, but it doesn't. The CMDDIA value is 1 and there is no entry in the 'AltGeniusPath' parameter.
AutoCAD has been re-installed a number of tiimes because of other issues, but this issue has persisted throughout.
I have read all the other links about this issue, but there does not appear to be a definitive answer other than the setting 'AltGeniusPath', plus this is the only one for AutoCAD 2014.
Any ideas anyone?
