WFS Connection Issue

Hi,

Having an issue viewing data when successfully connected to WFS.  Connection is ok, however there is no data showing.  See below.

I can connect successfully to service using QGIS - see screen shot below.  I've just tried using the 2019 release and still no joy!!

I have found a limitation with WFS and MAP here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-map-3d/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...

Not sure if it is relevant.

Any clues?

Cheers,

Michael.

Yup, getting same as you. (I used the free Gaia instead of QGIS.)

That's odd - the MAP Schema editor can SEE the schemas:

Hi @MichaelTaylforth5574 and all,

performing some test I see the same behavior.

Connection is done but no Schema is visible - happens with all versions of WFS.

Therefore I document the behavior as change request and keep you updated.

Kind regards

Hi @MichaelTaylforth5574 ,

I like to close the loop for reading WFS coming from ArcGIS 10.6.1 is not working.

Please install Fix for Ma3D 2020 from AKN which solves the issue and reads the data from provided WFS.

Hi

As this is issue exists already for a LOOOOOOONG time, it would be appropriate to have this fix also available for Map 2018.

Thanks

Hello Brigitte,

I'm stil having issues with many WFS Connetcions... Most of them are just not displayed when connetced. For Example:

https://geoportal.umwelt.sachsen.de/arcgis/services/natur/issand_lebensraumtypen/MapServer/WFSServer

https://geoportal.umwelt.sachsen.de/arcgis/services/natur/natura2000/MapServer/WFSServer?

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi @Jam_BK,

Thanks for the WFS URLs.

There are a lot of different WFS services out and from my experience, the cause is very different.

With my tests, I was able to read the data by using the option to INVERT AXIS before adding to Map.

Hi @Jam_BK ,

to be precise:

Only the second URL work for me - the first URL is not readable in any program I try.

Hello Brigitte, thanks for your quick response!

It's strange, because i don't get any reply from the server... I tried inverting the axis, but that was not the solution either. I've already applied the hotfix   Map2020_WFS.zip, so right now I'm a little clueless. You have any ideas?

Hi @Jam_BK ,

please find attached the dwg with the WFS connections which show the data for me - using BING maps to see that the location is fine.

Invert Axis - check before connect:
