Vectorized lines still look like raster

I have an issue where I've brought in a tiff I was able to successfully use the 'followers' command to convert my raster lines to vectors, however my vectorized lines still look like they are raster. if I pan around the drawing I see the underlying vector cad file, but I'm not sure how to get rid of the pixelated raster looking line type. maybe I'm missing a step in the conversion process???

Check your viewres settings you may need to set it to the max of 20000. Also if the lines are polylines you might try renoving some of the vertex with overkill or  the map clean up tools.
