We've been having this problem for a couple years now, and normally a quick purge of the google earth cache is enough to be able to save....but not lately.

I can delete everything that the PC will allow from that folder, and still have this error.

The most recent time, I had to shut down autocad, restart the machine, and delete locked entities that wouldn't save because of this error.

When I shut down and restarted, the AutoCAD temp file went away.
Restarted AutoCAD, and within two and a half hours...I was getting this error again.

The newly created AutoCAD temp file was 775,xxxKB in two and a half hours.

This happens on all four of our machines, and with all log-ins.

Empty your Windows log-in Temp folder, make it a regular IT task with automation, works for us when if and when it comes up. If you rely on it for AutoCAD autosave files, create custom folder for the task and use that instead, a better approach. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, we've tried that. Deleting Google Earth cache sometimes clears the error. If not, deleting temp files from any and all browsers may clear the error. Deleting the contents of the recycle bin sometimes clears the error. Occasionally, nothing we can think to do will clear it, and we lose work. We don't use autosave either.

This is how ridiculous the problem is... This is how goofy this is. All I am trying to do is delete items. I’m queried into a drawing. ****Delete a single entity, get the error. Clear Google Earth cache, and the error goes away. ****Delete a single entity, get the error. Clear Google Earth cache again, error remains. Clear the browser history of Microsoft Edge (rarely used browser) and the error goes away. ****Delete a single entity, get the error. Clear Google Earth cache again, error remains. Clear the browser history of Microsoft Edge, error remains. Clear the browser history of Internet Explorer (also rarely used) and the error goes away. ****Delete a single entity, get the error. Clear Google Earth, Microsoft Edge, IE caches, error remains. Clear the browser history of Google Chrome, and the error goes away. Now, for whatever reason I have deleted about 10 entities (each individually)…without the error. We have a batch file that runs and deleted Google Earth cache and empties the contents of the Recycle Bin at AutoCAD startup. We also installed a brand new 1TB SSD last night.

We have this happening in our office as well as other clients we talk to using the query process. we have also opened a ticket through the ADN page. Can we please get this issue looked at by Autodesk. It seems to be happening more and more and like Brian stated previous clears of the temp and recycle do not work all the time. We end up with clients losing work and are not happy when we get the call.

I was running into this as well and luckily found a possible reason.

In the AppData/Local folder there is a folder called "CrashDumps" and lo-and-behold I found 25 gigs of AutoCrash stuff.

I cleaned these out and it freed up a lot of space for me. Hopefully, this will help someone else too.
