xref file issue

I have attached an xref file, but when trying to select it, only the node is getting highlighted instead of the full line. Can someone please help me resolve this? It's causing a lot of confusion, especially since it works perfectly fine on other laptops.

the variable GRIPBLOCK to change from 0 to 1 ?

I must say I am not sure I got it but it is from what I understood.

I've attempted with GRIPBLOCK 0 & 1, but it seems that nothing is happening.

I think I didn't get you 😃

What can we see that doesn't work on your pic ?

What is the "node" ? Not a grip, is it ?

HIGHLIGHT deals with selection

My apologies, Tramber. Since I'm new to AutoCAD, my understanding of the terminology is limited. Please excuse any mistakes.

I'am attaching two images: one displaying my friend's laptop, which effectively highlights lines, and the other displaying my own laptop, where only nodes are highlighted upon selection.

I wonder if it has to do with the compatibility of your laptops graphics driver. Maybe try the following:

1) command GraphicsConfig and under 2d Display Settings select another option

if this doesn’t change anything then

2) command GraphicsConfig and disable Hardware Acceleration

@paullimapa I appreciate your suggestion, but I've already tried all of those steps and unfortunately, I didn't have any luck.

I have Intel Iris (R) Xe Graphics with DirectX 12. Memory details below,

Total Memory: 16328 MB

Display Memory (VRAM): 128 MB

Shared Memory: 16200 MB

total RAM is : 32768 MB

How’s about setting GfxDx12 to 0 and then restart AutoCAD?

@paullimapa - Worked now, thanks! I set GfxDx12 to 0 and restarted AutoCAD, and everything seems to be functioning properly.
