Write block changes sizes

When I insert a block I have written it is a different size to what I created it as. What am I doing wrong?

Please post the block and the drawing you're trying to insert it into.

Without a drawing it is difficult to help, but it sounds like e.g. your block is created in millimetres and your drawing is created in inches. Which would make your block 25.4 times bigger

Hi

Thanks, So I've attached 2 files.

One showing the Block (which is 1239 wide)

The other showing when I insert the block it changes to 48.79 wide so much smaller.

Thanks

1239mm = 48.77938 inches

It appears your destination file has INSUNITS variable set to 1, which is inches. Both of your posted DWG files are set to units=mm, so that one variable needs to change. Look up INSUNITS variable in HELP to set it to mm.
