Trouble with disappearing hatch

This has become a more common issue with hatching. 

Scenario: Pick point, the hatch pattern shows itself, enter and then it disappears. The work around was to zoom in close and that solved the issue but as of late that has not been a successful move. 

Help is appreciated.

Hi,

1. The command preview (hatch displaying / or not) using another subroutine than the real part of hatch creation.

   So sometimes preview is succesful, but not the creation.

   In theorie the same for the opposite.

2. Zoom&Pan = your current view, current visible area.

    Hatch command isn't working with boundary object data only, 

    this command takes data from the temporary display list, where geometric data for displaying on monitor is different to the cad properties.

   In short: Hatch command works view depending.

3. Zoom big, all boundarys visible.

Zoom normally helps but in this case did not. Ended up just creating a pline to make it function in an acceptable manner.
