TRouble opening a DXF file in ACAD Lite

I have been having trouble opening a DX file. When attempting to open the file I get a message of

Hit Enter to continue

See attached screenshot

I would appreciate some feedback on this. Totally lost

OT First: DockON your commandline

OT Second: Use 3 or 4 lines visible

Check your Textscreen for alle messages [F2]

Q: And what is your problem? Acad says "Press Enter", it means you should press the [ENTER] key on your Keyboard..(scnr)

If there is a defect, we need to know the whole message or better: We need the DXF file to solve it (if possible and someone like to spend time to your problem)

Thanks for the quick response. I hadn't thought of looking at the command
line table. Here is what it shows:

Error in BLOCK_RECORD Table
Invalid symbol table record name: "" on line 15488.
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.

It seems that something is happening when I save a file created under DWG
format as a DXF file. I just tested this and it gave me the same result. It
creates this invalid symbol and it crashes out. Have you heard of this
before?

I am attaching the dxf file as well as the original DWG file

I look forward to hearing back from you

Appreciate the help

Did I understand correctly: You have a DWG,
from the DWG created a DXF and this DXF shows the error?

I am sure the error already exists in the DWG, but there it does not cause such a problem.

If this is the only error, we can fix it.

Your understanding is correct. When I create a DXF drawing to send to one
of my vendors, the error shows up. I have run into this with multiple files
regardless of whether they are small or large. Trouble is that the original
DWG file was created by someone else and has been modified multiple times
of=over the years. I typically purge the file and resave it and I see the
size of the file change significantly. I have tried with and without
purging and I still get the same issue

Herzlichen vielen Dank fuer die Hilfe

Have you tried an AUDIT of the drawing and telling it YES to automatically fix any errors it comes across?

The only data I have for the files I had sent to you are what I can get
from the command lines:

Error in BLOCK_RECORD Table
Invalid symbol table record name: "" on line 10876.
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.

Not sure where else to look for other data. This is all I can see
When it prompts me to hit enter and I do, it just kills the file

The AUDIT command found 6 errors embedded in the original DWG file

and was able to correct these. Once those were corrected and the file was saved as a dxf file and once I reopened the newly created DXF file, it opened fine.

Appreciate the support and help. Hope I can return the favor one day

Regards

Chris
