AutoCAD Support,
I am having some syncing issues with our CAD drawings. The two images I attached are the same drawing opened at the same time: one is my screen and the other is my coworker's. If you notice, my coworker's screen shows the drawing with lines misaligned. My screen does not. How do we sync these drawings? Help.
This is not Autodesk Support: for that you need to log into your Subscription Page and do the following:
What versions of LT are you both using?
WIndows OS version you both are using?
By chance does changing the CANNOSCALE setting fix the problem?
Can you share this dwg file for someone here to look at?
What versions of LT are you both using?
2015
WIndows OS version you both are using?
I am using Windows 10 Pro x64
Coworker is using Windows 7 Pro x64
How can I go about changing the CANNOSCALE? Sorry, I am new to AutoCAD.
You can change the CANNOSCALE at the bottom of the screen. See picture below. Also select the drawing that is referenced into your drawing and on the properties palette make sure the insertion point X, Y & Z are 0
If the xref insertion point is the same on both computers and one still visually shows it incorrectly than I would suggest you look into if your computers video card is certified for your Autodesk product. Here is a link http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?id=18844534&siteID=123112
You can try disabling the hardware acceleration with the -GRAPHICSCONFIG command.
Sorry, I'm out of ideas why they would appear different. Maybe someone will come along that has had this issue before. Good luck.
I need to ask one more time: what exactly is the issue?
Or is it the fact that the W file you posted has items floating far away on both sides while in the other file it does not?
The issue is that my coworker's file isn't rendering it like it does on my computer. The scaling is the same. The only thing is different are the graphic cards. They're aren't aligned like they are on mine.
