Simplify drawing from digitizer

Since a lot of us are probably having to do jobs we don't normally do, I was hoping to get some help with how to simplify a DWG in AutoCAD 2020 LT.  We have a camera digitizer, CadShot, and I have attached one of its outputs.  I was looking for a way to straighten the lines and reduce the number of points.  Any tutorials or help pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

There are no tools in AutoCAD to guess at what is a straight line supposed to be, if that is a shot taken of an object that originally has straight sides then the CadShot software is sadly deficient or it really needs to be calibrated following the software guides, the only option you have would be to trace over the image using just the corners (but it looks as though that would just be a best guess and not very accurate) or try some other method to get the measurements from the original object.

Since your scan is anything but 100% perfectly accurate, you can just draw right over to and snap only to the farthest endpoints, then eyeball your bottom arc manually.

I actually found a German piece of software called dxfreducer that was able to remove a lot of the points and simplify the drawing.  Thanks for all the suggestions!
