Set hatch default properties?

Many graphics and such programs have a button or command so that you can select an object, click the button, and the properties of the object you selected will become the default for future similar objects you create.

Is there something like that for Autocad LT (2015).

In other words, can I select a hatch, make it's properties default and hatches I create after that will have the same properties, like origin, pattern, scales, rotations, etc.?

Thanks,

GChapp

The hatch you create will be (by default) as the last one you have created.

You can also use the "Match Properties" button (or type MA at the prompt Pick internal point or [Select objects/seTtings]: ) - to pick any already created hatch as "sample".

HATCH command's pop up (type settings after you start the command) has that as a button too.
But LT doesn't have the programming language that full AutoCAD (for $4000) does to automate the task for you beyond what the advise has been so far for you to use.
