Good afternoon all.
We recently deployed Sentinel 1 to all of our machines on campus. However one of the machines uses AutoCAD LT 2020 and Sentinel 1 is blocking it from running.
I have already added everything in this article (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Are-there-antivirus-excl...) to the exclusion list and it had no effect.
While I wait for Sentinel 1 to get back to me I was wondering if anyone else experienced this issue and managed to get a solution for it.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Aside from running Windows 7, the primary issue with cloning over is the client doesn't want to pay to do so.
I am reaching out to Sentinel 1 now, thanks for the link.
Got a solution.
Per Sentinel 1's Parent company;
What you see:
AutoCAD crashes when an Agent is installed.
Impact of this solution:
This solution uses Exclusions. If you deploy this solution, the Agent will not be able to protect the affected endpoints from exploits directed at the application vulnerabilities.
We do not recommend this solution for AutoCAD of versions earlier than 2014. If you have a later version, it should be safe from most known AutoCAD exploits.
While we investigate a solution, we suggest that you configure SentinelOne exclusions to enable AutoCAD to function properly.
Exclusion Procedure
To create SentinelOne exclusions for interoperability:
Folders to Exclude:
This resolved the issue. The problem with the support article here is the file path exclusions are missing the last backslash.
But now it works! Thanks for the responses guys!
