Rotated views in viewports

I have a client who is using Acadlt2002. I know that in Full Acad2k2 you
can use Mvsetup to rotate the view in a particular viewport. Is there
something similar in Acadlt2002? My client receives drawings from customers
that use the full Acad with rotated views, but he wants to rotate them back.
Any Ideas?

As a second question: Is it possible to launch Excel from a toolbar button
in Acadlt2002?

Thanks,

Nick Pirkl

You can rotate an entire view within a layout viewport by
changing the UCS and using the PLAN command.

As for the second, I personally have always preferred to have an
application launch toolbar at the bottom of the screen always
visible (like the freebie Office Launch Toolbar, or in later
Windows OS the default one on the bottom Windows Start toolbar,
or even clicking on the Start button and launching it. Much nicer
than cluttering LT with even more toolbar buttons just to launch
a blank page of another program. Just my preference, please feel
free to ignore my rantings 😉

To launch other programs from LT.
Check out the _ai_startapp command.

Or, as an alternative, you can also use DVIEW TWIST.

Well, now that I can actually post, here is my question. I have a friend of
my who is working on Acadlt2k2. I use Acad2k2 myself, and often rotate the
views in the viewports by using "Mvsetup". When I send a drawing to my
friend that has a rotated view, he can use it, but all of his new viewports
that he creates are rotated as well. Is there a command in Acadlt2k2 for
rotating views in viewports? I didn't find the "Mvsetup", since lisp's are
not supported.

I offer a belated thanks to all of you. I have had some posting/reading
problems and wasn't able to see this thread until today.
