"Error starting program, A required .DLL file, AC1ST15.DLL, was not found."

After sucessfully loading auto cad 2000 lti, i get this message when trying to start the program. This file does exist in the following location C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared. Can anyone help me fix this problem? Thanks for your help in advance.
Sincerely, Paul Sepe

Select LT from the pulldown
Type AC1ST15.DLL in the search box.

Read what comes up.

What version of autocad/lt are you trying to install?
What version of Windows are you installing it in?
