RENAME MULTIPLE LAYERS

I import model from formZ and Sketchup software. I tried to rename the all layers name using wildcard from RENAME command. Same process worked well on autocad built models. anyone know how to fix this. thanks in advance.

I have layers name like - wall A_03, win A_03, door A_03. etc. here 03 means floor level i want to change all _03 to _04.

Checking in on your thread it has been a few days were you able to find a suitable workaround?

I had tried this one, but it does look as though using the wildcard at the start of a name isn't accepted, it's fine at the end but fails to do anything when used first. I would personally look at listing out the layer names into Excel and creating a script to change the names that way, as Excel is more forgiving and adaptable with its search options, but having said that it would probably take an awful lot longer to explain how to do that than it would to change the names manually one at a time.
