Print Area on Paperspace

I have tried to read other forums to get answers to this, but I have came up unsuccessful. My dotted print area in paperspace is not printed my sheets as centered, so I have to manually move my printable area "off-center" so that it prints in the center of the page. Any idea why it just wouldn't be centered in the printable area? To actually print that way?

This is very doable but it dependent on your print settings and possible paper space content. Share a drawing with the title block.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

1. Pagesetup/PLOT dialog: Are you using CENTERED instead of a x/y Offset value?

2. What kind of Plot-Area: EXTENTS or Windows (if you have nothing outside the frame, use 'Extents'

3. Perhaps you using a paperformat with unregular unprintable.border settings.

Left 3mm, on the right 13mm => The middle of the printable area is not the middle of the paper

Check your Paper size definition (Plot, Plotter properties... CLICKme -> You can choose another papersize or create your own definition, pls do not change a standard definition)

I don't know how I missed having the page centered in the plot dialog box. Thank you!

OP I usually start by drawing the outline of my paper in paper space, on the defpoints layer, with the bottom left corner at 0,0

Then I do my page setup by choosing my output by Window, and pick 'center'

The only other thing I do is go into my properties for that sheet size, to reduce my margins to zero

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted 🙂
