Pointer and commands lag momentarily.

Using Windows 10 and AutoCAD 2017. 

Pointer will freeze or in typing command, it will not take for a second then picks up.  When entering text, will type "T" then attempt to draw text boxk, only to find the pointer (or cross hairs) are still in cross hairs with small box in center and Text entering is not active.  Have to enter in "t" a couple of time until the computer catches up.

Recently changed from 2011 to 2017.  2011 did not have this problem.  Anyone find a solution?

You ran AutoCAD/LT2011 in Windows10?

Is the problem in one file, or ALL files? Even if you start a new blank file?
In LT2017 fully patched and updated? There are many https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-lt/downloads

You can start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and uncheck all the boxes on the pop-up: that will make 2017 more like 2011. Se if that helps.

Thank you for the fast response!  You must have know I was under a tight schedule...

It is all files, even if new, blank file.

I just downloaded all patches (there were 3)

Graphicsconfig command:  Hardware acceleration is "on"

Deactivated High quality geometry, but left smooth line display "on"

The changes seem to have worked.  Will run for a few days and if it doesn't I'll be back for more suggestions, else thanks for your help and time!
