when i plot in CAD, IO am plotting 24 x 36, what size should my border be?

when i measure my border, i measures 34" x 24"

of course this from a PDF that I converted into a DWG. file.

ANY thoughts on how to fix this?

No two printers have the same exact margins, even PDF drivers: find a common size and stick to it all the time.
