Of course there is a delay. You are running an emulator. That means that
everything that you do has to be read by the Mac operating system,
transferred to Windows, and then executed. You are only getting 1 cpu
cycle out of every 4 or 5 to actually do anything that you want instead
of 2 out of every 3 as is typical when running in Windows directly. An
emulator is fine if you are running small software or software designed
for slower machines, but that isn't ACAD.
If you really want to run ACAD on a Mac, you need to use Boot Camp to
get the efficiency back up there. In fact, running Boot Camp results in
one of the faster Windows machines available.
