oSnap not working, have checked all settings and reset

Hello,

I am running autocad 2022 LT and use it many hours a day every day of the week and just had a new problem show its ugly head this morning in a drawings that I have been working on for multiple days.  oSnap is not grabbing corners, midpoints, or referencing off of certain rectangles.  If I hover over the corner and press "tab" multiple times, the box will eventually appear.  If I have to do that everytime I might as well quit and join a roadwork crew.

I have tried the following:

turned snaps on and off individually

unchecked and rechecked the magnet box

confirmed the colors are still the same

reset autocad settings.

Any help is MUCH appreciated!!!  Happening on both my desktop and laptop so it must be a drawing file issue?

thanks!

So... if you open a brand new blank DWG file, draw some lines, circles and rectangles, your same running OSNAPs completely fail in the same exact way too?

Or is the problem limited to this one file with only these objects in them?

So in a new drawing the problem is gone and it is something in that particular drawing.

When I copy and paste the original element that was giving me trouble into the new (just worked) drawing, it does not work and behaves the same as in the bad drawing.  Can it be saved?

Do an AUDIT on the "Bad" drawing and say YES to repairs

EXPLODE the content in the BAD drawing, and keep exploding until there is nothing to explode; not try it all.

I have exploded everything visible, cntl A to select all and exploded that.  I tried setting everything to the 0 layer and repeated the process.  It is still not working

@MHINSONCDC  the problem is your file: nothing else.

Share it here for others to explore it or ask the file creator about fixing it and resending to you.

Thank you for helping look into it.  The file is attached, the red rectangles are the ones that I cannot grab the corners to.  I live in the stretch command so being able to grab the right corner is important to me.  Unfortunately I am the creator of the file, Is there something I did or is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again?

Well the first problem is that those "4 red lines" are not 4 lines. See the image below. Even after using OVERKILL those "4 red lines" were still 10 red lines.

After using overkill however the endpoint snap worked just fine

Are you talking about the waste of objects on layer 'LAYER 2 GRAY LINES' only?

Or do you have problem on all objects (objects where you try to use an object snap) ?

As Test: Run OVERKILL an delete all duplicates, then try it again, as first test with osmode=35)

(and as general hint, geometric center as running osnap is not a good choice, also nearest - is rarely a good one)
