Object reference not set to an instance of an object 2018 AutoCAD LT

My drawing won't let me in!  

I cut & pasted some excel tables (with images) yesterday.  Today, it won't let me edit the drawing, no matter how many times I click on "Continue".  I have always used this technique (excel) so it probably is not the issue.

I restarted my computer - hoping not to have to change the registry or something more complicated.

I could just install 2019 - would that help?

I opened AutoCAD then recovered drawing in the Start folder.  So far it works.

Anyone getting this error message when opening Revit 2019? I already tried restarting, rebuilding in revit, uninstall/reinstall, patch update 2019.2.1, but nothing has worked.
