New Leader Style in old drawings

Is there an easier way to get the leader style into drawings created pre 2008, besides inserting a drawing block with a leader every time? Leader Style is not available in design center (why not???)

Leaders settings are held in dimension styles.

Leader Styles are new to 2008.

Pre-2008, you set them up using DIMSTYLE, and only get one leader style per
dimstyle, pretty much matched your dimstyle (LEADER command).
QLEADER starts with LEADER settings in your current dimstyle and goes off on
it's own.

I understand that Dean, but my question is if I wanted to use the new leader styles when working in an older version drawing, is the only way to get them in there to insert a drawing with those styles?

Many ways, either INSERT your old file into a template that has all your
Mleader styles defined, or drag and drop from a Toolpalette you create based
on your template file(s), or drag and drop/Insert a block from your template
file(s) into the old file to get the Styles you want.

It will most likely not show up in Design until the next format change for
DWG, whenever that is, that's one of many things that trigger a format
change we all complain about every few versions.
