NC1 Files

Can anyone tell me if it is possible for me to create NC1 files from a DWG file?  I am drawing structural beams for a company that has a plasma operated cutting machine that operates with NC1 files.  They typically run the machine with NC1 files provided by a vendor that uses Tekla.

You need to be using a version of AutoCAD called ADVANCED STEEL, or use some other program altogether that can read dxf or dwg file.

Thanks pendean. Can you suggest another program? I know I can create DXF files so could I possibly create a DXF and somehow convert that to a NC1?

Doesn't the Tekla software import dxf files https://teklastructures.support.tekla.com/2017i/en/int_importing_dwg_dxf_files
