What does that mean please? What is the problem exactly?

And... Do you have the T2530 driver installed for all of your Windows programs to use?

The HP t2530 is a wide format plotter. We have @ 24" wide & a 36" wide roll paper.

Th plotter works fine for other programs. but after installing acad 2021lt I can't find a driver that

uses the correct roll and orientates the plot correctly.

Forgive me, but how is that any different than LT2020 for you exactly?
In LT2020 did you (or someone for you) create custom PC3 files to use?
Or was it the same system driver all other programs see?

Do other programs see different drivers for "correct roll and orientation"?

In 2021, do you not see the system driver all other programs see?

I am having the same issue with 2021Lt and an HP DesignJet T930

Previous Lt versions gave options for size and orientation - for example, I could choose Arch D (landscape) or Arch D (portrait).

2021 Lt you get Arch D and that's it. No orientation choice.

2020 used HP drivers, 2021 uses Windows System drivers. I had my tech guy try to fix things. He was unable to get AutoCAD 2021 to use the HP drivers.  I do not know what steps he tried.

I'm back to 2020.

He suggested I come here for an answer.

@Biedy not seeing your issue here at all in LT2021 and the HPT930, our driver is installed on the Server and pathed to individual users

pendean,

That's exactly what I see here... there's no choice of landscape or portrait.

And I do use that depending on the size of the print and the paper I have loaded.

Thanks,

Anne

Landscape vs Portrait has never been an option in the driver as a papersize pulldown in LT2017-18-19-20 either here, we've had that plotter that long.

Landscape/Portrait selection has always been available in the drawing orientation section of PLOT command.

EDIT: I forgot to include this screenshot, I would recommend you use this in LT2021, and don't forget to report the issue to Autodesk (see my earlier response to you)

2020 Lt vs 2021 lt.

Using the drawing orientation rotates the drawing on the paper, not the paper in the printer.

I have reported using the link you provided, thank you.

Since my drivers wants to print the drawings portrait I have changed the paper roll size to allow it to print it vertical.

The problem is Not resolved. I have found a way to work around the problem by plotting portrait. But this is a problem when I need to plot something wider than 24". I have to change the paper roll. There has to be a way to plot landscape using  24" &  36" wide roll paper.

Does plotting to PDF also exhibit this problem? If not, does printing that PDF to the plotter create the issue or avoids it?

Autodesk Support may be what you need next, from your Autodesk Account Page here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support

Then... HP support forums are over here https://h30434.www3.hp.com/

Autodesk feedback for 2021 issues is here (if this works for you in older versions) https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback

Show us: screenshots and photos please of what you see from the plotter and why it is wrong, a copy of your "not correct" PDF, a DWG file set up to output to PDF that is "not correct".

But before hand, read post #9 above from me and ensure your problem is not just a paper orientation problem between your paper selection and what you are asking AutoCAD to rotate as well. Also read post #12 about paper sizes in plotter drivers.

Hi,

Have you tried going to the windows devices and printers and check the settings autorotate? which should rotate to what paper is installed to save on paper etc?

Yes, and it's still a crapshoot if it will print correctly.
