Linetype Scale problems

Have my linetype scales set to 1. Purged the drawing - the whole bit. Please let me know why my hidden and dashed lines look continuous in paperspace. I can work on CAD for a hundred more years and I'm convinced that this will remain a mystery to me. Help is much appreciated.

Thanks for the DWG file: all of your objects are set to BYLAYER for linetypes, and only three layers have a setting that is not CONTINUOUS. And this is what I see when I zoom in real close, so it seems to be working just fine

Are you aware of the variable LTSCALE, CELTSCALE, MSLTSCALE and PSLTSCALE nd how to set them to get what you need? In your file, they don't appear to be deliberately set yet. when I set all the above to 1, I suddenly see your linetypes like this

 Way better, huh.

Most of us set LTSCALE to a setting smaller than 1: looks like you use annotative text, and your modelspace' annotative scale is set to 1/4", so try an LTSCALE setting of 1/4 to see if you prefer that

And if I may ask, why is your LAYER 0 off? That needs to be on/thawed/unlocked ALL the time (plus you should never draw on it).

Don't forget to always use REGENALL command to refresh your screen any time you change those "...scale" variables I listed above.
