Just a quick one, when I do a full text filled leader I can specify the text oridentation, but a leader box does not give me the option. Yes I can click on the whole leader box and rotate it but that seems old fashion. can I rotate the contents of a leader box like a testLEADER BOX ROTATION.png

Hi,

>> but a leader box does not give me the option.

in your attached image i see that there is NO selection in Properties dialog for that maybe you don't see the other available options . But as you can see from below image you can rotate it .

In your image the properties box has no selection. You must first select the object to see all properties that can be changed.

Your own screenshot says that you selected nothing, is that your actual problem, PROPERTIES is not working but you haven't noticed yet? Or did you just forget to select your mleader first?

Yes I definitely can do that but that means I then have to reset the leader positions and arrows too, seems like a step backwards for a function that weirdly should be there??

you can get Rotation option in your properties dialog , if :

  • from MLEADERSTYLE command , change your Multileader type from Block to Mtext .( see below image )
  • select Frame text in the same dialog tab . ( see below image )
  • Now you have a new multileader with rotate option .

Now ... you will get Rotate option ....
