I seem to remember that I used to be able to view an active rotation angle during the rotation process. You click Rotate, select the objects, pick a point to rotate around and then rotate. At this point the rotation angle would show in the Dynamic Input box so if you were randomly rotating you could see what that relative angle would be, then if you liked that angle you could either click Enter or type in a more precise angle. The input box is fixed at 180.0º I can type in a sepecific angle here, or use the dropdown menu for Copy or Reference.
I can see this when I draw a line where the length and angle boxes (sorry I don't know the technical terms here) and before I select the second point the rubber band effect shows actively changing lengths and angles.
So am I imagining that I used to be able to see this angle change when rotating? Or am I confusing the two?
Using Autocad LT 2013. Thanks for any information.
