Hello,

I'm quite new to using annotative in text and dimensions and I'm not sure how does it work and how do I change the text height. I have a dimension it is quite big. how Do I make the dimensions smaller? Thank you

You might start here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4qB4km9JFM

In short, when using Annotative text, you specify the text height in plotted units (i.e. 1/4", or 0.12", or 3mm, etc.) and not by the real world units size as we did for years before annotative objects.

If you select your dimension and look in PROPS what do you see for text height and Annotative scale? Note in my example below, the Annotative scale is 1"=20' and my text height is 0.1. The real world units measurement of the text is 2 units (20 * 0.1).

This is the problem, 4" when for annotative it needs to be 3/32" (10-11 points high in MSWord parlance), so your text is over 40times as large as it needs to be

It always helps if you dive in completely to ANNOTATIVE text style, you want that to be annotative too, not the way you have it set.

Annotative Text is all about the print result, 3/32" is the common size. Like this
