Home 2D Panel

How do I get my new Draw and Modify Capture.JPGPanels from the Home 2D Panel to the Tools Panel?

Drag and drop them into the TOOLS panel: click on these arrows to hide that bottom section.

Go ahead and delete the empty panel you have in the HOME-2D panel while you are there.

Where is the Tools Panel? I can’t find a Tools Panel that will allow me to drag into. Enter what arrows?

I wrote "click on the arrows" and in the image I posted is a pointer in red and circle around them, did you miss it? Check it out.

Did you create a Tools Panel on your Ribbon? There isn't one by default unless you did create it. Shame on me for assuming you did otherwise.

Or are you looking for the TOOLS pulldown menu?

Are you trying to use the pulldown menus and not the Ribbon?

I am sorry, I don’t know enough about this to understand. I tried to drag the panel down but it would not let me get by a certain area.

I have generated a new panel "My Draw Panel" located in "Home 2D".  I would like to place this panel in "Tools > Toolbars > AutoCAD LT" drop down so it is usable as a new panel that can be placed on the screen.

A Panel is a Panel (part of a Tab, which displayd in Ribbon)
Command Ribbon/Ribbonclose to see what the Ribbon is.

Tools is a Menu, Part of the Menubar.
Command Menubar to see what the Menubar is.

And in upper right corner of your picture there is a Toolbar.

-

If you want to expand the Tools Menu,
you have to drag (&drop) your commands to the
menu section, into the Tools Menu node of your aclt.cuix.

Then your panel is good for nothing, read also pendeans answers above.

If you want to create a new Toolbar (like that in your picture/up right),
you have to create a new Toolbar, not a panel.
Node Toolbars, new
add the commands to the new toolbar.

And perhaps it is need to attach the new *whatever* to your WORKSPACE, but thats is a second challenge.

I am sorry, but I don't understand where you create a new "Toolbar" to accept the new Panel.  I can't find anything in my book that discusses this topic.

A panel is a part of a tab for the ribbon.
A panel is not a menu
A panel is not a toolbar

Stop your own questions and answer our questions !

You can create a new toolbar with rightclick at node toolbars, below the node Ribbon in upper left section of dialog.

Upload a screenshot of your autocad and mark a item like you want them.

I think I have found the solution, I just wasn’t aware of how to get to a simple solution. Thanks for your patience, but when you enter into something that is very unfamiliar it can be challenging. Tonight I will attempt to arrange my new panels.
Thanks again,

Betreff, I got everything to work.  After looking at your solution, I think I was attempting to use the book information with your information and this did not work.  After forgetting about the book and concentrating on your information, everything fell into place.

Thanks again,

Rowland Hall
