1. HPGAPTOL variable
OR
2. In the hatch dialog box at the bottom right corner is an arrow. If it's "<" go to to step 4. If it's ">" go to step 3
3. Click the arrow so it looks like this "<"
4. Look a little way up from the arrow and you should see a box with the title "Gap Tolerance". You can change the gap there
